Dear Colleagues,

As the Program Chairman of the International Society for Rotary Blood Pumps (ISRBP), I warmly welcome you to Louisville, Kentucky, host city of the 19th annual meeting of the ISRBP.

We are honored to serve as this year’s host to our unique society of clinicians, biomedical engineers, and researchers who share a common interest in rotary blood pumps and their clinical applications. We have assembled a multidisciplinary scientific committee from around the globe that will inspire us to think about how our collaborative organization can continue the advancement of designing, refining and applying mechanical solutions for advanced cardiovascular disease. It is through the sharing of our scientific and clinical ideas that we can achieve the greatest results.

Recognizing the educational potential of our meeting, the AATS has agreed to sponsor and promote the annual meeting. We look forward to having many additional participants at this year’s meeting.

In addition to a robust scientific agenda, attendees will enjoy the opportunity to network with peers, industry leaders and world-renowned experts while still finding time to enjoy our city’s thriving and culturally diverse downtown area.

We hope you will join us in Louisville, home to the University of Louisville, Kentucky Derby, and the Muhammad Ali Center.
